Feenagh Kilmeedy G.A.A club annual general meeting at the clubhouse on Friday, November 30. The Chairman Vincent Kiely welcomed and thanked all who played and helped out in the club in 2018, with fundraising. The secretary Tony Long outlined all the activities. The Treasurer Marian O Sullivan presented the Treasurer’s report. The Club na nóg chairman John Holmes outlined the underage activities. The chairman Vincent Kiely paid special congratulations to the club Leiriú group all Ireland champions 2018. Presidents – Willie Kelleher, Nicholas Roche, Vice President – Christy Kelly. COUNTY SCÓR NA NÓG FINALS

Congratulations to Feenagh Kilmeedy Scór na nóg in winning two county titles at Askeaton on Sunday, Instrumental music – Hannah O Sullivan, Amy O Sullivan, Grace Donegan, Bobby Donegan, Keith Irwin. Teacher – Sheila Cagney.

Recitation – Corie Lynch, she would like to thank Timothy Lynch and David Kelly for helping her to prepare for the competition.

FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Saturday the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Holy day obligation mass in Feenagh on Friday, December 7 at 7.30 pm.

Mass in Kilmeedy Saturday, December 8 at 10 am. This does not fulfil the Sunday obligation of attending mass.

KILMEEDY DEVELOPMENT

Kilmeedy Development Group had a very successful year winning two major awards, in October we were overall winners of Limerick in Bloom and in November we were runners-up in Pride of place, This is a wonderful achievement for our little village, we would like to thank the members of our community and our CE workers for all their help and support during the year. We invite you to join us for a get together at The Glen Bar, Kilmeedy on Thursday 13 December at 8 pm.
