PRIDE OF PLACE COMPETITION 2018
I write to convey my congratulations and that of my colleagues in the Social Development Directorate, to Kilmeedy Community Development Group and to the wider resident population in Kilmeedy for the tremendous success of your entry in the Pride of Place competition.
I would like to acknowledge all the hard work carried out by the Kilmeedy Community Development Group in their preparation for this competition. The judges commented that the Limerick entries were well selected and of a very high standard. We await with anticipation the results of the Pride of Place Competition which will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in Cork City Hall on the 17th of November this year.
Whatever the outcome will be, the Kilmeedy entry has been a tremendous triumph and reflects very positively on the residents of the Kilmeedy area and about what can be achieved when leaders emerge in the community and agencies such as the Local Authority, West Limerick Resources, LCETB and others, play their part. You have represented Limerick in an exemplary fashion.
Wishing you all the best in the Pride of Place Competition.
A/Director of Service,
Social Development Directorate.
Kilmeedy Development Group would also like to convey our thanks to all the groups and individuals who helped in any way to make the day such a success.
