FEENAGH KILMEEDY PARISH NOTES FOR WEEK OF 7TH NOVEMBER 2017

Kilmeedy  I.C.A. will meet at the school on Monday November 13th at 8pm. The Competition is for the largest cooking apple. The Christmas shoe boxes for Team Hope will be collected at the meeting.

Rosary at Feenagh Church on Friday November 10th at 7pm.

RAMBLING HOUSE

Rambling House at Aras Ide Kilmeedy on Friday November 17th at 8.30pm.

REMBERANCE MASS

Rememberance Mass at Kilmeedy church on Sunday November 26th at 10am. (For all those who died in the last year).

MASSES

Saturday November 11th at Feenagh Church at 7.30pm, Kathleen and William Irwin,Daughter Rita,Grandaughter Marita.

Reader – James Holmes, Eucharistic minister – Cathy Farrissey, Alter servers – Bobby Donegan , Anna and Violet Irwin.

Sunday November 12th at Kilmeedy Church at 10am, Jane McEnroy R.I.P.

CHOIR PRACTICE

Choir practice at Feenagh church on Saturday November 11th at 6pm.

CONCERT

The Concert at Feenagh church on Friday night was very entertaining for all in attendance with the Hand in Harmony choir singing hyms and the parish choir with some youth members sang many hyms to add to the occasion. Pat Brosnan Monegea played the guitar rendering many songs to the delight of all. When all was finished refreshments and a large variety of foods were served at Feenagh Community centre. Fr Patrick Bluett P.P thanked all the entertainers and all who helped and supported.

NEWCASTLEWEST ENTERPRISE TOWN

Newcastle West Enterprise Town takes place on Friday 17 November from 6.00pm – 9.00pm in Desmond College, Station Road, Newcastle West.

All businesses, community groups, schools, charities, sports clubs etc in Newcastle West and its surrounding area are invited to take a stand at the Expo which will be complemented with a visit from a high profile guest and lots of wonderful entertainment.

It is FREE to come along as a visitor and also to take part as an exhibitor.  Registration forms are available from Bank of Ireland, The Square, Newcastle West or email [email protected]

The purpose of the event is to showcase the range of organisations operating in the area in order to raise their profile and promote Newcastle West.

 

KILMEEDY DEVELOPMENT GROUP MEETING

Kilmeedy Development Group will hold a meeting on the 14th of November at 8pm in Aras Ide Kilmeedy,all are welcome.

KIMEEDY RAMBLING HOUSE

Kilmeedy rambling house will be back again on Friday 17th November at 8pm. Hoping to have another great night. We will have some items for auction on the night with the proceeds going to the Children’s Ark unit in limerick. These items have been donated. We have already €1.800 donated so we hope to make a few more euro’s for  the cause on the 17th of November. Items  are as follows,

A signed Kerry football jersey, A John Deere Child’s tractor, A new coffee table with glass top. The usual  top class music, song and dance and storytelling. See ye all on Friday 17th , Sean.
