Feenagh Kilmeedy Community Games

Our first swimming medals ever at the County A finals and so we will have two swimmers at the All Ireland Finals in Athlone in August. Well done to Eimear Galvin and her brother Colm who claimed gold in Askeaton. Eimear won her Swim A under 9 freestyle 25 metre race and Colm won his 50m butterfly race in the under 14 event. A great day for the Galvin family and parents Jim and Angie, their daughter Niamh won a silver medal in the 50 metre stroke under 12and David got a fourth place in the under 12 freestyle boys race over 50 metres. Thanks for all your dedication in training. It was a busy weekend for Feenagh/Kilmeedy youngsters as we held our Community Games sports evening on Friday last. It would not be possible without the help of all our volunteers on the night and thanks for your help. Thanks also to Feenagh/Kilmeedy GAA for the use of Kevin Long park.
