Feenagh youths took on Glantine last Saturday in their 3rd league game of the season. After reversals to Carrig Celtic and Pallaskenry, the side were hoping for an upturn in fortunes. A fine strike from Kevin Moore put the home side in front and the same player was on target again with a tidy finish to make it 2-2. However, a sending off for deliberate handball for a Feenagh defender changed the course of the game, with Glantine running out 5-2 winners. The side are in action again this Saturday, September 7, against Ballingarry with a 2.30 kick off.
Feenagh’s junior side continued their good start to the season with a 2-1 win away to local rivals Granagh, with Tony Roche and Ronan Gilbourne from the penalty spot on the mark. Meanwhile, Feenagh B were defeated by Glin Rovers B in their 3rd Division encounter.
